TOP DENIM BRANDS TELL ALL | FALL 2019 DENIM GUIDE
Posted on
Soca is renowned for its collection of Designer Denim which features top denim brands and trends season after season. Not only do we take extra care to educate our employees on how to spend time with each customer to ensure that they walk away with a pair of denim that was made for them, but we also love playing host to many of our denim representatives throughout the year to become educated ourselves on their practices, trends and fits for the current season. We sat down with reps from top brands AGOLDE, AG Jeans, DL1961 Denim, and Citizens of Humanity to find out not only which trends they're most excited for in Fall 2019, but also gained insight on how to style each recommended fit with other current trends. Whether you're a classic lady looking for a minimal update to keep your style current or a trendsetter who is ready to try anything and everything, let this be your guide on what to look for in Fall 2019. Come visit us in store for our Denim Specialists to help guide you even further in the right direction of your perfect pair!

Kelly from AG Jeans says:
"Many trends come and go, while the true Contemporary Skinny and is still the mainstay in most wardrobes. At AG, we track this trend with must have fits like the Legging Ankle and the Farrah Skinny Ankle. Our Premium Stretch Indigo wash, Blue Above, is leading the way in this season's updated fabrications and washes. Great hem details, tuxedo stripes on the side, and a splash of our new Shadow Animal print are also a great way to add spice to your Fall wardrobe this season!"

Meghan from Citizens of Humanity says:

"Our Fall 19 denim mantra is anything goes! We are seeing true flares, slim straight, skinny, different fabrication, & full leg. As you can see, our focus for Soca is our Chloe flare, sexy breaking after the knee and giving the leg that elongated look. We are loving this with sweatshirts, sweaters, tees with a great front tuck. Any shoe goes here, from booties to sneakers and mules.

For a pop of novelty, we have our Harlow (slim straight) in our new velour fabrication. The colors are fresh, Amethyst & Sage, which you can dress up for evening out or throw on with a tee & sneaker.

We are still showing our tried and true Rocket crop skinny in two washes: Keeper which is a light wash & distressed, and Thrill, a great washed grey. You will find this season is all about grey’s blacks and true indigos."

Emma from AGOLDE says:

"80’s and 90’s inspired looks continue with a focus on a softer hand feel in rigid and comfort stretch. Sustainability is a key message for the season with organic and recycled yarns. This season we continue to focus on straight leg fits that are easy and effortless. Key fits this season include the Riley and Toni both offered in our rigid and comfort stretch fabrics."
